In the past two years, Lars Jacob and his colleague Trond Døskeland collaborated on a research project on socially responsible investing. The project is related to Skandiabankens launch of a system of ethical labeling of funds. Lars Jacob and Trond has conducted a field experiment relating to private investors’ decisions on whether to invest socially responsible or not.
The research is described in two papers are being prepared. The first article – “What Drives Responsible Investors?” – will be presented at FIBE conference at NHH in January 2012. Some of the results from this study were recently described in an article in Bergens Tidende. You can read the article from Bergens Tidende here.
